El 05 de noviembre del 2020 se realiz\u00f3 la inauguraci\u00f3n oficial del laboratorio. Cuenta con un sistema a escala de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica fotovoltaica y e\u00f3lica con capacidad de almacenamiento y respaldo de energ\u00eda y con tecnolog\u00edas de monitoreo para gesti\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica. Posee 2 generadores e\u00f3licos (uno de eje horizontal y otro de eje vertical), una estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica y un laboratorio de aproximadamente 45 m2.
